This week sees the return of Spanner Art!
This was a quick project which came together
with minimal fuss once I’d visualised the vague outline of a fish in a small
spanner lurking at the bottom of my “one day” pile of metal.
After engraving a scale pattern I decided to
give it an unusual twist by applying the very drab colours found on deep water
occupants such as the angler fish and, to finish the look, added a suspended
luminous blob like those used by angler fish to lure in their prey. Turn off
the lights and the blob is very visible.
Simple, but very effective!
