Christmas Cards

Morning All

Well, what a busy week that was! I have been concentrating on getting some Christmas Cards done, I’m nowhere near finished with all my ideas yet, but it’s a start – so watch out for more.

I also held my workshop making Hop tu Naa (Halloween) lanterns on Saturday, I had a great time and I hope my guests did too – they were soooo talented and produced great lanterns.  Watch out for them out and about this coming week and especially the big night on Friday.

Stay dry if you can

Christmas Gifts

Good morning everyone

Look, it’s Monday again! Sometimes I can’t believe another week has gone already.  Well, I did get the third Advent Calendar finished – it would be great to hear if you like it?

I also managed to complete a lot of half - finished jewellery designs, they seem to take much longer for me to think of and execute so there’s always something to do.

Don’t forget, if you are local, my workshop making Hop tu Naa (Halloween) lanterns is next Saturday and you can find the details on my “Contact me” page, or call into the Manx Crafters’ Gift Shop – details also the contact page – to have a look at some completed lanterns and book a place.

Advent Calendars

Hi Everyone

I have started to create my stock for Christmas. I know it still sounds far away but, trust me, I have got a lot to make and it feels like I am running late already.

I have started the Christmas stash by making some Advent Calendars. The first is a Christmas tree which has small boxes that open, the second is a more classic calendar style and the third, well, I didn’t get it finished for today, so this will be appearing next week (I hope).

I have also put aside a date to run a workshop making Hop tu Naa (Halloween) lanterns, and you can find the details on my “Contact me” page, or call into the Manx Crafters’ Gift Shop – details also the contact page – to have a look at the lanterns and book a place.

Let me know what you think, or what you are doing for your crafty Christmas.

Birthday Cards

Morning everyone

What a soggy day to wake up to, I guess that this is definitely autumn.

Not too much crafting this week as I needed to clean up all the debris from my Halloween creations. So crafting has been limited to making cards that I need for friends with birthdays this month and, to cheer myself up, I also made my first thing for Christmas – Santa’s pants!  I love them and would like to hear if you do to.

I also attended a craft fair on Saturday in Douglas. Unfortunately it was very badly organised and was a rather disappointing day. However, I did catch up with lots of the other stall holders, so not a totally lost day.

Have the best week that you can.
