Green Onyx Flowers

Hey everyone

This week I have been looking back through YouTube and came across a design by Gemma Crowe on Jewellery Maker and decided to give it a go.  I have a gorgeous strand on green onyx which is just so clear and looks like its liquid.

Using gold wire, chain and findings it took me a couple of tries but I am super happy with the finished suite of jewellery and they have already gone to a new home, so I guess they were as pretty as I hoped.

Let me know what you are making - it’s always fun to hear from you.

Memory Books

Hi everyone

I have been playing with, and looking through, my many, many sheets of paper. I love to just look and feel it - not to mention think about the unlimited ideas it brings to mind.

Having said that I have decided to make some memory books, which I haven’t done for a while.  I thought people may like to create small mementos of this weird time and this world we have been living with.  They are fun but time consuming and, of course, deciding on what paper to use takes forever!

Let me know what you are making, it’s always fun to hear from you.

Carnelian Beauty

Good morning

This week I have been playing with a strand of Carnelian graduated faceted bars.  It was the colour that first caught my eye, just stunning but the cut is also just so useable.

The first necklace was asking to be made and hardly took anytime at all with its gold colour findings.  On the other hand the second, using only one of the gemstones, took much longer and a few attempts.  I have matched this necklace with very simple ear rings and I think they look great.

I’m very happy with the finished products but I would like to hear your opinion, and of course what you are making.

More Packaging

Hi Everyone

Sitting in the sunny weather, I have been upcycling some more boxes which I have been given by friends - I won’t bore you again about how important I think lovely packaging is! This time I have made cylinders as well as flat boxes and the most fun part is deciding on the paper to use. Eventually I settled on some out of date wall paper that I was given.

I love the finished products, I hope you do too, let me know what you think of my creations and what you are making.
