This week I have
completed a necklace that I have wanted to make for some time - using some
lovely box chain and pink shell pearl beads.
I had a few
false starts because I struggled with what medium to use to attach the beads to
the chain. I didn’t want it to be visible
but it would need enough strength to get a high tension on the beads, allowing
it to sit right against the chain.
In the end I
used beading thread, almost the exact colour of the chain and with a dab of
glue on the knots at each end, which disappears inside the chain links.
I will be in
Port Erin, at St Catharine’s Church Hall next Saturday from 10:30 to 3:30, if
