Although
I have been busy making things this week (and they will be appearing in the
blog), I thought today’s blog would be a bit different and concentrate on raw
materials rather than finished products.
As
those of you who have been following the blog for any length of time will know,
I am an absolute paper addict and will never turn down the offer of more paper
for my stash. So, you can probably imagine how happy I was to be given a pile
of old wall paper sample books by a friend (the pictures might give you a
clue!). There are just so many uses for this sort of paper – bags, cards,
boxes, bunting, if you can think of it you can use it – that said it’s hard to
know where to start. The good news is that manufacturers issue these books on a
regular basis to shops so, if you feel the need for a life time’s supply of
free paper, why not ask around and see if any shops in your area are getting
rid of their old sample books?
